Pool Payout & Getting Ready to Order

My hardware paid out today with BitMinter.com so I ended up getting
0.01 Bitcoin into my CEX.io account. All my hardware earnings go into cloud hashing so I ended up getting 1.33633490 GHs... then invested 0.00001118 Bitcoin into Litecoin for cloud hashing scrypt mining in the future, so I got 0.00051390 Litecoin.

It's also almost pay day (27th) so I'm going to start paying closer attention to bids. I plan on buying two 60GHs Butterfly Lab miners which will cost me around $350-400. I'm also currently bidding on a 10GHs CEX.io voucher with a max bid of $48 USD.

Waste of Money

I tried Bitcasino.io out... what a waste of money. I ended up playing 0.011 bitcoin on Blackjack and lost everything. Honestly it wasn't even that fun. Never doing that again.

I'm also going to be looking into ordering a couple 50 GHs Butterfly Labs miners off eBay. I noticed that they're selling for about $150-200 with shipping. Figured I'd blow about $300-400 on 100 GHs.

.4 GHs Cloud Hashing

I ended up spending a bunch of cash on video games this month so I didn't have much left over for bitcoin. I ended up buying .2 GH/s of cloud hashing for cex.io off ebay for $1.83 ... I also have another bid on another .2 GH/s that ends in 2 days.

Had to do some major trouble shooting today. I re-installed windows so my USB drivers are all messed up. It took me about 6 hours of work to realize that both my Anker 9 Port USB 3.0 Hubs weren't running on my USB 3 com ports. I finally hooked them up to USB 2.0 ports and now they are running as normal. I heard that Windows 8 requires an update to trigger 3.0 hubs to work properly. We'll see in time. Right now I'm running 2 hubs with 1 Bitfury Twin Chip (3.5 GHs)... 2 Bitfury Red Fury's (2.5 GHs each - 5 GHs total)... 2 Bitmain Antminer U1's (2 GHs each - 4 GHs total)... and 11 ASIC Sapphire Block Erupters (335 MHs each - 3.69 GHs total).

I'm also currently bidding on 4 Bitmain Antminer U1's and I'm going to be ordering a 3rd Anker USB Hub. Still waiting for the second fan that I ordered off Amazon.

I got my other Red Fury working on cgminer! For some reason the bf1 drivers would only make 1 Red Fury work... but now both run under the Zadig WinUSB drivers. Too bad I gave away my 3rd...
I bought a new Bitfury Twin Chip for $82. It was advertised as a 4 GH/s miner but I've only been able to get it running at 3.5 GH/s. I'm now running 2 different miners simultaneously. I have my 11 Sapphire Block Erupters and 2 Antminer U1's running off the Bitminter client... then I have my new Twin Chip and a Red Fury running on cgminer... so I'm connected to two different workers on the same account.

Sorry I haven't updated in so damn long. I ended up buying another red fury which might I add, doesn't work... I've bought 2 red furies now that don't work, never purchasing one again. I have 2 Antminer U1's overclocked to 2.0 GHs, going to overclock to 2.2 GHs once I have 5 of them, just don't want to burn out my hardware right away. I also ended up getting 1 more Sapphire Block Erupter (traded a broken red fury for it) and I also purchased about another 2.5 GHs on cex.io ... I also spent everything I had in my wallet on cex GHs power. I also started making micro-transactions of buying Litecoin. So I invested into cex.io cloud hashing today. I spent 0.009 bitcoin and all my namecoin on 0.7 gh/s... so about $7. I pay about $20 per gh/s with mining equipment and $10 per gh/s through cex.io... but cex.io only accepts bitcoin as payment. So everything I mine using miners will go into cex.io cloud hashing which pays itself off in about 5 months and is good forever and mines mulitple currencies. Plus all my namecoin I mine from both my miners and cex.io will go into more gh/s for bitcoin. One of my red furies crashed. I took it out of the usb port and dropped it on the floor and now it doesn't connect to any of the miners even though the COM port is detected. So that sucks, I lost about 2.5 gh/s from that and about a $140 investment. Oh well... I got my two red furies working now... :) It turned out it was missing a digital signature so I re-installed windows 8 to wipe the old incorrect driver then modded the settings to bypass the digital signature check to install the correct drivers. Better yet I got the red furies working with the beta client of bitminter so I can have a graphical interface and track all my speeds. So my gh/s has increased but so far no new bitcoin have arrived since I've had my miners turned off. Well I just got out of the hospital and my miners have been turned off for over a month. I tried hooking up a couple red furies but I can't get the drivers to work right so I'm just going to stick with the sapphire block erupter's and the bitminter client. I bought a couple more block erupters which came to about $80. This is my current stats... looks like I've lost $3.62 since I last updated this blog over a month ago. Next Purchase [Edited]

I was just browsing Amazon.ca to see what I'm going to buy next. I found 2 ASIC Sapphire Block Erupters, a USB 3.0 9 port hub, and a USB fan for $198. I think that is what I'm going to order on the 28th... 2 weeks away.

New Red Fury 2.6 Coming in the Mail

I was just talking to my dad on the phone and he ended up ordering me a redfury 2.6 off ebay. It should be here in 6-11 business days coming from the united states, so January 17th - 24th. I'm probably going to order the three asic sapphire's and a usb 3.0 hub on the 28th.

Different Purchase

I was going to buy 3 asic sapphire block erupters and a new usb hub but my dad found a Red Fury 2.6 gh/s for $177 with shipping and handling. I'll probably spend the extra $20 on milk, smokes and bitcoin mining contracts.

Cloud Hashing with Butterfly Labs

In a couple of weeks when I get my next bitcoin payout, I'm going to re-invest that into cloud hashing. With the current market I can buy a 1 year contract for $11.75 which will profit $81.31 per year, plus my profits off my own mining hardware which funds the cloud investments.

Future Purchase on the 28th

I get paid on the 28th so I'm looking at what I'm going to be buying. Right now I have a few things eye'd out on Amazon. Three ASIC USB Miners and another 9-port USB 3.0 Hub. That'll come to about $230. The 3 miners will profit about $116 per year, so I'll have all the equipment payed off in about 2 years just running the 3 miners.
My mining pool paid out for the first time today. I'm also now including Namecoin value (if transferred to bitcoin).
